Each year the Peter Pan Award is given to the person or persons who have made invaluable contributions to Peter Pan Junior Theater. Although the award is officially called the Peter Pan Award, it has been given a nickname. Just as the Academy Award is called Oscar, the Peter Pan Award is called Kuhne.
